This workshop focuses on how to maintain calmness and help others feel calm, even in stressful or uncertain situations. It gives simple ways to understand your feelings, support your family, take care of yourself, and create a sense of calm in your home. Maintaining calm in complex situations is challenging. Join us as we learn and practice hands-on techniques for you and your family to work on together. What You’ll Learn How to notice and talk about your feelings so that you can model for your family Ways to help yourself and your family feel better when things are tough Simple tools for self-care and wellness Learning Objectives Understand what it means to regulate your emotions. Learn simple ways to help yourself and your family feel calmer during stressful times. Practice strategies for staying steady and supportive, even when the world feels overwhelming Family Caregiver Training and Empowerment (FCTE) These workshops aim to provide family caregivers with knowledge, skills, and confidence to help support their loved one’s increase independence, well-being, and quality of life. Join SEEC’s workshops to learn essential skills to provide safe and effective support; understand rights and improve advocacy; connect to other care-givers to share resources and increase support networks.
